Susan Glassett joined Mary Kraus's groupSusan is a doctoral candidate in the Joint Doctoral Program for Educational Leadership with the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and California State University San Marcos (CSUSM). While she is completing her dissertation research on student experiences in alternative school she also teaches math, science, and technology for the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) in their Juvenile Court and Community Schools (JCCS). Susan holds a California Administrative Services Credential, a California Single Subject Credential in Mathematics, a California Education Specialist Credential (mild/moderate), a California Specific Subject Matter Authorization in Biological Science, a California Supplementary Authorization for Computer Concepts and Applications, and a National Board Certification in Mathematics. Prior to starting her career in education almost 10 years ago, Susan was an information technology company executive who managed engineering business units that developed complex software applications for commercial, government and military customers. She also developed and delivered training and consulting to knowledge workers and executives at Fortune 1000 companies and managed teams of instructors and consultants for several consulting firms.
